Lance Turner, of Turner Surveying, LLC, has been a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor with the State of Alabama since 2001 and has over 25 years of experience in the various facets of the surveying industry. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 1992 with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology, his experience has included:

  • Member of a field survey crew with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), doing roadway planning and bridge layout

  • Engineer with a private bridge contractor, specializing in bridge layout

  • Civil Engineer with the Anniston Army Depot (Department of Defense), performing civil design work and construction surveys for design purposes

  • Surveyor with a private civil engineering/surveying firm in Anniston, AL

  • Project Manager for heavy commercial/industrial contractor

In 2004, Lance started Turner Surveying, LLC, where he performs all aspects of land, boundary, and topographic surveying, as well as construction stake out and subdivision design and stake out.
